“Supporting Diaspora youth movements/youth organizations and strengthening their connection to the homeland” is our first Breakout Session for the day presented by Noemi Stepan-Sarkissian, 2021 Diaspora Youth Ambassador participant in Great Britain.

The Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program is a program of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. During this panel, 2021 Diaspora Youth Ambassador in Sweden Inesa Rubinyan, Intellectual Property Attorney Karén Tonoyan, Head of Chita’s Armenian community, Harutyun Atoyan, and 2021 Diaspora Youth Ambassador in the Netherlands Haik Khanamiryan spoke about creating projects and organizations for youth in Diaspora communities to strengthen the Diaspora’s connection to their Homeland.

The speakers shared their experiences in their communities and the positive impact of having youth movements and organizations.
