On November 23rd, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs received UNICEF Representative in Armenia, Christine Wiegand, and the Head of Communications, Zara Sargsyan.

During the meeting, Zareh Sinanyan presented the mission of the Office, highlighting programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening Armenia-Diaspora relations and supporting organizations within Armenia.

The UNICEF representatives discussed their work in ensuring the rights of children through initiatives aimed at promoting child protection and the advancement of education and health for children in Armenia. Christine Wiegand noted that they are currently cooperating with the various ministries of the Republic of Armenia.

The guests expressed their readiness to collaborate with our Office and implement joint programs.
