The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, summed up his working visit to Russia

As part of a working visit to Russia, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan was in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad region.
He visited the local Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Astvatsamayr and the new Armenian Sunday School named after Yeghishe Charents. A conversation took place with the teaching staff and parents of the students. They discussed the issues related to the organisation of educational processes and Armenia's provision of academic literature.
Zareh Sinanyan also met with active representatives of the Armenian communities of Vsevolozhsk and adjacent districts of the Leningrad region. He presented the office's activities, and then issues related to various areas of work with the diaspora, particularly educational and cultural support of communities, were discussed.
After the meeting, accompanied by the community representatives, Zareh Sinanyan visited the «Road of Life» memorial complex and was hosted by the «Zartonk» dance group. A quick reminder: he also held earlier meetings in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow during his visit to Russia. Feedback from all the meetings with the organisers and participants will be kept from being disclosed to work on agreements and further collaborations.
