About the program

The Republic of Armenia's Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs is excited to launch the first free of charge service under the scope of the Repatriation and Integration Center: Armenian language classes. 

These classes will help recent repatriates break down language barriers and improve their Eastern Armenian skills. 

Free of charge, the classes will be held 3 times a week, each class lasting 1.5 hours, for a period of 2.5 months. Space is limited. 

The classes will be organized in the following groups. 

• Elementary Eastern Armenian: designed for those with zero to very basic knowledge of Armenian, who will learn reading, writing and speaking. 
• Intermediate/Advanced Eastern Armenian: designed for those who would like to improve existing Eastern Armenian reading, writing and speaking skills. 
• Western Armenian to Eastern Armenian Adaptation Class: designed for those who have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Western Armenian, but are looking to adapt their knowledge to Eastern Armenian.

Applications

In 2023 the Center has organized Armenian language courses in four stages, with approximately 250 repatriates from 30 countries participating.
