Montenegro
The Armenian community of Montenegro was formed in 2012. Currently, about 40 Armenian families live in the country with the community mainly formed by Armenians from Ukraine.
Despite being small in size, Armenians are actively involved in the public life of the country, organizing Armenian cultural events on different occasions.
The community is by far the youngest in Europe. There are two Armenian organizations here, the Armenian Diaspora NGO in Montenegro, which is taking steps to open an Armenian Sunday school and an Armenian cultural center, and the Ani Union.
Near Budva is St. Astvatsamayr Church, where religious services take place.
Armenians primarily have careers in construction, transportation, commerce, and culture.
