Parev! I am Hagop Makdis from Aleppo, Syria. 

My academic journey began in Syria. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science from the Faculty of Science at University of Aleppo. I then earned my Master's degree in the same department. I have a second Master's degree in Life Science at Yerevan State University. I am a certified Communications Specialist with over nine years of teaching/training experience, as well as a Certified Practitioner Trainer in NLP since 2013.

I collaborated with the Syria Trust for Development Organization, International Committee of the Red Cross, CPC Center, Fund for Armenian Relief, Slice Academy, IAB International Business Academy, First Business School, UNICEF, Coca Cola, HBC Armenia, World Vision, and other well-renowned companies.

As an international workshop trainer, guest speaker, and expert in identifying soft skills training needs, I conducted more than 200 workshops in soft skills and communication for more than 4,000 trainees.  

As an iGorts Fellow, I am placed at the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport and I work in the Youth Policy, Supplementary and Continuing Education department, where I am working on developing a strategy in youth policy and nonformal education.
