Kristina Avagian
My name is Kristina Avagian, I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Russia.
I received my higher education at Moscow State Linguistic University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics as an English and French translator. I studied at the Confucius Institute in Moscow for 3 years and participated in the student exchange program at Shanghai Normal University, and 1 year at Lanzhou University, obtaining a degree in Chinese Language and Culture. I hold a Master's degree in Sinology from the Russian-Armenian University.
I worked as a translator and content writer at the Armenian Assembly in Moscow, and served as an assistant to the EUNIC cluster at the British Council Armenia. I was an intern in the Public Partnerships Department at TeachForArmenia and have been working as a project manager and translator in the Lebanese marketing agency Media Unit LLC for 3 years.
As an iGorts fellow, I am placed in the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) as a Communications Specialist. I am promoting state fund activities to attract foreign investment to implement large projects in strategic sectors.
