Zepiur Chahrozian
Hi, my name is Zepiur Chahrozian. I was born in Tehran, Iran and spent my early schooling years in Syria and then in Lebanon before relocating to Australia.
I am a graduate of The University of Sydney where I completed my degree in Social Work. I am currently completing my Master's degree in Social Work at the University of New England.
I have worked in the fields of women and children's protection, mental health rehabilitation, as well as with refugees. I have additionally worked within the fields of immigration and youth.
I have been an active member of the Sydney-Armenian community in Australia, particularly Hye Hoki Inc., a nonpolitical, non-partisan and non-denominational youth network. I have also been part of the Inaugural Team for the Armenian Cultural Festival in Sydney. I have participated in other ways in the Armenian community, such as teaching Armenian dance and language classes. As an iGorts fellow, I am placed at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. I am proud to be taking part in iGorts and wish to contribute to Armenia further with my heart and soul.
