Elita Babayan spent all of her childhood and early years in Russia. But due to her great love for the Motherland and the Armenian language, she made a revolutionary decision - to settle in Armenia. Elita entered Yerevan Haybusak University, Faculty of Economics and Management, and graduated from University with honors. Immediately after graduating from University, she was invited to work as a financier in the Financial and Audit Department of the Tashir Group of Companies in Russia.

Then, for almost five years, she was engaged in financial journalism. Specifically, she covered the activities of banks and credit organizations, insurance and investment companies, and the stock market of Armenia. In parallel, she was engaged in compiling rankings of financial organizations in Armenia in a subsidiary of the international organization Global Rating. She has been a part of public activities for the last five years. In particular, she worked for two years as an assistant to the head of the Moscow branch of the All-Russian Public Organization and the «Union of Armenians of Russia.» She later was the head of an information service at the organization's central office. At the same time, she participated in organizing events held jointly with the Moscow Government and covered the activities of the Association of Armenian Lawyers. In 2020, she completed a refresher course at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
