Sophie Hakobian is from Moscow, Russia. Her academic career began at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, graduating with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Jurisprudence.

As part of her scientific activities, for several years, she has been doing design research works with international organizations and the faculty of several universities in Europe, including many years of cooperation with Johannes Kepler University of Linz (Austria).

Moreover, she has extensive professional experience in the public and private sectors, including international companies.
