Hovhannes Gevorgyan
Hovhannes moved to Armenia from Russia. He has a bachelor's degree from RUDN with honors in World Politics and graduated from the master's degree program at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in the direction of International Relations. During his undergraduate studies, he was in charge of the Armenian Community of RUDN. He studied in Spain at the University of the Balearic Islands and has repeatedly made reports on Armenia's foreign policy. He is a translator in professional communication (Spanish, English). He worked at the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation and the Spanish Consulate in the Russian Federation.
In 2019, he left postgraduate school and decided to serve in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia in Karvachar. On September 27, during the beginning of the 44-day war, he was a sergeant and a squad leader and later became a lieutenant and platoon commander. After the war, he was awarded the high Order of Holy Nerses Shnorali.
In August 2021, he finished his military service, returned to Russia, and again enrolled in the postgraduate course at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry. But as a graduate student in Moscow, he felt he could be more of use to Armenia.
