Robert Mesrob Krigori DerMesrobian
Robert Mesrob Krigori DerMesrobian is a dual Lebanese-Armenian citizen born and raised in Lebanon. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Haigazian University (Lebanon). He has worked as an economics teacher and head of the department at the high school level, a travel consultant at his family-owned travel agency, and an adjunct instructor at his alma mater, before deciding to move to Armenia.
He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Pecs (Hungary) and simultaneously holding a teaching position at the American University of Armenia’s Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics and working as an iGorts fellow at the Central Bank of Armenia’s Consumer Rights Protection and Financial Education Center.
He aims to advance consumers’ financial literacy and improve financial inclusion in Armenia. He has presented several research papers at different academic conferences worldwide and works extensively on increasing the number of his academic publications. He recently became a member of the American Council on Consumer Interests and the Armenian Economic Association.
Apart from his work and studies, Robert Mesrob is a horseback rider, a card and board game player, and a food enthusiast.
