Abraham Kulajian
My name is Abraham Kulajian. I am a 4th generation descendant of survivors from the 1915 Armenian Genocide and was born in Aleppo, Syria.
I studied at the Engineering Institute at the University of Aleppo, and joined the Armenian youth scouts and Armenian youth organizations. After the war started in Syria in 2011, my family and I left and immigrated to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I continued my Civil Engineering studies at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), and graduated with a professional MBA in Asset and Investment Management from the University of Geneva School of Economics and Management.
My mission as the Diaspora Youth Ambassador is to build strong relations between the Homeland and the Diaspora to benefit both, including the Armenian Diaspora youth, by helping people repatriate; reminding them to never forget our values, culture, language, and history; building strong relations with the Armenian churches and cultural centers in Brazil; and raising awareness in Brazil about Armenia.
