Anna Asa-Ghazaryan
My name is Anna Asa-Ghazaryan, and I was born in the city of Yerevan in 1992. Since my childhood, I have had a deep love for songs and music, and a strong interest in Armenian traditions. I have actively participated in various music events․ I graduated from the Tchaikovsky School of Music in Yerevan. In 2009, I was admitted to the academic singing department within the Vocal Theory Faculty of the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas. Subsequently, in 2015, I successfully completed my studies, earning my master's degree.
In 2016, I relocated to Germany with the aim of furthering my professional expertise and utilizing my acquired knowledge and language skills to promote Armenian culture and music. As a performer, I have taken part in both Armenian and international events, where I have showcased Armenian songs and music.
I am currently studying as a conductor and organist in Mainz, and I also work for the Schott Music Publishing House as a workshop organizer.
From 2020 to 2023 I was a member of the Board for the Armenian Community Union of Bavaria, holding the position of Commissioner for Education and Culture. Additionally, I served as the head of the children's and youth choir called "Luys-Zvart" at the Hovhannes Tumanyan school under the Union's umbrella. I have been contributing to the school as an Armenian language teacher since 2016. From November 2023, I oversee foreign affairs, authorized by the Community Union.
As Commissioner for Education and Culture within the Union, I collaborated with various educational institutions and governmental entities in Armenia.
I am pleased that within the framework of the program, I will further strengthen my knowledge and use my new achievements to benefit the community's improvement and prosperity.
