Astghik Antonyan
My name is Astghik Antonyan, and I was born and raised in the Harich village in the Shirak province of Armenia. I studied at the Yerevan State University, the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology.
In 2015, I moved to Germany to continue my studies at the Faculty of Literary Studies of the University of Stuttgart. While studying, I worked at various organizations, including the “Engagement Global” non-profit organization, which holds educational and political events, as well as funds development projects and initiatives.
I use the experience I gained from my work to serve the community. I place great importance on not forgetting our roots and preserving Armenian culture in a foreign country. Since moving to Germany, I have been very active in community life. Additionally, I work with various youth associations in Germany to strengthen the connections between Armenian youth in the Diaspora.
Currently, I am a member of the Miasin Youth Association.
I am happy to be a participant of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program and I hope to contribute to the strengthening of the ties between Armenia and the Diaspora through my work.
