Gohar Galustian
My name is Gohar Galustian. I am 32 years old. I live in the city of Montpellier in France. Last year, I obtained my PhD for research on constitutional law. I am a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Law.
I am a member of France’s Armenian Lawyers’ Association. In my capacity as a member, I collaborate with not only Armenian lawyers, but also with lawyers operating in different countries. In particular, we conduct research in the field of international law on issues related to the rights of the Armenians from Artsakh, and we work together with European institutions to raise the Armenian issue at the international level.
I am also the deputy head of the Armenian community of the Occitania region and the city of Montpellier. In this position, I am involved in the development of the Armenian community, as well as the introduction of Armenian culture to the French society. For this purpose, we initiate and participate in many projects with representatives of the Armenian community in France.
As a participant of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador program, I would like to develop the connections between French-Armenian communities, as well as between Armenian communities across the world, including between the institutions operating in Armenia and Armenian society.
