Lilian Galstanian
Lilian Galstanian was born in Tehran, Iran, and grew up in Toronto, Canada. She earned an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from York University in Toronto. With over a decade of professional experience in the arts and culture sector, Lilian has made meaningful contributions in both Toronto and Yerevan, working for museums and film festivals. She specializes in the development of educational programming for children and youth, as well as managing private and public events.
In 2021-2022, Lilian volunteered her time and efforts for Birthright Armenia across various job sites, largely focusing on the Golden Apricot Film Festival. Her dedication to the festival led her to return and collaborate with the GAIFF Pro team. Lilian's passion lies in promoting Armenian culture and actively participating in initiatives that strengthen the connection between the Diaspora and Armenia.
Lilian is currently working for the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
