Sona Baghdasaryan is a computational linguist and informatician by profession. She was born and raised in Syunik, then moved to Germany to get her second master's degree and gain international experience.

She has specialized in medical data analysis (MDA) and worked at different hospitals and pediatric clinic in Darmstadt. Sona was an IT Project manager for the law “Krankenhauszukunftsgesetz (KHZG)” by the Ministry of Health, which aimed to improve the e-Health structures of hospitals German wide.

Having more than 8 years of experience in German e-health, she expanded her professional scope cooperating with medical institutions of a number of European countries, particularly Norway and Switzerland.

Sona repatriated to Armenia after living and working in Germany for 10 years, with the goal of investing her European experience in the improvement of e-health in Armenia.
