Tatevik Avakian
Tatevik Avakian was born in the village of Sardarapat, which epitomizes the struggle of the Armenian people for their existence.
In her early childhood, she moved with her family to the Russian city of Rezh. After graduating from school, Tatevik entered the Russian State Professional Pedagogical University, Faculty of Economics. In 2015, she started attending the Armenian Community "ANI-Armenia" of Yekaterinburg, where she was active and interested in social and volunteer activities.
Returning to Armenia in 2018, she continued her volunteer activities within the Birthright Armenia program, where she dedicated a year to helping and supporting local communities, and by making a positive impact on the lives of others by volunteering in the cities of Gyumri and Yerevan.
For three years in a row, Tatevik tried hard to get into the iGorts program, and finally, on her third attempt, she succeeded. However, in May 2023, she was faced with a major life decision, moving to Iran with her husband. But despite this, when she was offered a job at iGorts in August, she accepted the offer, after which she decided to stay in Armenia, away from her family, and start a new professional chapter in her life.
Today, Tatevik works at the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
