Samson is a journalist and data analyst hailing from Moscow, Russia, with familial roots tracing back to Tbilisi, Georgia—originally from Kars and Van. In January 2022, he relocated to Armenia for a year-long volunteer stint with Birthright Armenia, aiming to contribute to his community, grasp the Armenian language, and connect with his ancestral heritage.

He has a master's degree in Data Journalism from the National Research University Higher School of Economics, with research experience in computational linguistics laboratories at the university in Moscow. Following graduation, he worked as a data analyst at a Polish company, specializing in data collection and analytical research for Eurostat.

With a background encompassing years of specialized IT journalism, teaching, and photography, as an iGorts specialist he brought his expertise to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. Here, he actively contributes to shaping the technological future of the country.
