Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Administration from the Faculty of Commerce at Concordia University, Canada.
Professional Experience
In 2003, founded “Azad Pharma AG” in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, specializing in the development of pharmaceutical raw materials.
From 2000 to 2009, served as President of “Tecan Robotics”, a company based in Männedorf/Zurich.
From 2000 to 2002, held the position of Executive Director at “Asklia”, a veterinary and dental company in Belp.
In 1998-1999, served as Executive Director at the Central Laboratories in Bern, established by the Swiss Red Cross.
Between 1990 and 1997, was Vice President of European Operations at “Cilag AG” in Zug and Schaffhausen, after working at “Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Inc.” in Rochester, USA.
With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, held several key positions at “Johnson & Johnson” in the USA and Canada from 1969 to 1990.

Additional Activities
Baronian is a Swiss-Armenian businessman and philanthropist, currently serving as the President of the Armenian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Swiss charity, the Armenian Relief Fund.
Founded in 1988 following the Spitak earthquake, the fund has also launched numerous charitable initiatives, especially in Armenia's border regions such as Tavush.
In 2017, Baronian established the Swiss-Armenian Chamber of Commerce to enhance Armenia’s economic development and bolster bilateral trade and cooperation. Under his leadership, groups of Swiss businessmen have visited Armenia to explore investment opportunities and strengthen business ties between the two countries.
