Anna Sarkisyan
I am Anna Sarkisyan and I was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, a city known for its rich tapestry of cultures and histories. Growing up in a vibrant and diverse environment, I was deeply influenced by Armenian heritage, which played a crucial role in shaping my identity. My educational journey began in an Armenian primary school, where I was immersed in Armenian cultural roots while simultaneously navigating my life in a Georgian society.
My dedication to education and my pursuit of knowledge led me to higher education in Georgia, where I studied at the faculty of International Relations. Throughout my student years, I became actively involved in the media, working to serve the ethnic Armenian minority community in Georgia focused on combating disinformation as well as was actively engaged in activities of Armenian community.
Through my work I strongly advocated for raising awareness about the rights and responsibilities of ethnic Armenians as citizens of Georgia, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and representation in public discourse.
Later, I advanced my career as a project portfolio manager for international educational programs, which allowed me to create opportunities for youth in Georgia, particularly those from ethnic minority backgrounds, enabling them to participate in various exchange programs.
I am currently working at the Royal Danish Embassy as the focal point for Armenia and as a Public Diplomacy Officer, where I contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Denmark and Armenia.
