Astghik Hachnazaryan
My name is Astghik Hachnazaryan. I was born and raised in Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. I studied Information Technology at European University Armenia. For the past 14 years, I have been living in the Netherlands, where I studied Business Analytics at Vrije University Amsterdam.
My passion for giving back to the Armenian community has driven me to remain actively involved in Armenian organizations in the Netherlands. From 2014 to 2017, I volunteered at the Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands, where I helped organize business events, cultural festivals, and charity concerts. These events not only strengthened our community bonds but also showcased Armenian heritage on an international stage.
From 2015 to 2016, I was a committee member of the Armenian Youth Organisation (AJO), which is connected to the Armenian Apostolic Church of Amsterdam. As a Culture Committee member, I enjoyed organizing activities and lectures that celebrated Armenian culture, history, and traditions, helping young Armenians connect with their heritage.
Since 2020, I have been a board member of AGBU Armenian Young Professionals Amsterdam. Our mission is to create a dynamic platform for Armenian young professionals to network, build meaningful professional relationships, and stay connected with their cultural roots. In this way, we support career growth and build a strong community among Armenian YPs.
In 2023, I joined the Events and Communication Committee of the Lions Specialty Club Netherlands for Armenia, a charity organization focused on supporting the children of Artsakh and their families. In this role, I help organize impactful charity events and manage social media to raise awareness and gather support for this important cause.
