Anna Akopian was born and raised in Russia. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Orenburg State University (OSU) and a master’s degree from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). As a linguist, translator, and teacher of English and Russian as a foreign language, Anna has taught at several universities in Moscow, most recently at RUDN. There, she had the opportunity to engage with students from diverse cultures and backgrounds, primarily working with international students from various regions of the world.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Anna has been actively involved in Armenian community activities. She has also played an active role in several Armenian youth organizations in Moscow.
