Ryan Nazari is from San Jose, California. He is a researcher and educator in modern languages, specializing in cultural heritage. He earned his BA in English from Santa Clara University and an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford, where he wrote theses on Assyrian Iranian poets during the Pahlavi dynasty and their conceptualizations of national literary taste.

Ryan brings these interests to his work at the Language Committee, where he seeks to improve Eastern Armenian orthography and education, as well as to protect minority languages.
