Armine Serobyan

My name is Armine Serobyan, and I am 33 years old. I have been living in Estonia for the past ten years.
I was born and raised in Abovyan, Armenia, and completed my higher education at the Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University. From the age of thirteen, I volunteered with the Armenian Red Cross Society, participating in numerous programs and projects over eleven years. During this time, I led the “Social and Psychological Support for Elderly Living Alone” program, supported the adaptation of Syrian-Armenian children, and served as a trainer, organizing seminars on healthy lifestyles at universities and summer schools. I also participated in emergency preparedness programs, served on the First Aid team, and in 2012 took part in an international exchange program in Germany.
After relocating to Estonia in 2015, I continued my engagement in social and community life, focusing on the Armenian diaspora. I worked for three years at an Armenian Sunday school and have consistently contributed to various cultural, educational, and spiritual initiatives within the Armenian community in Estonia.
My professional experience also includes work in the private sector. I spent five years at CMA CGM logistics company and later joined the Swiss IT company Cargoo as a Customer Support Specialist.
Currently, I am involved in several cultural and international initiatives. I contributed to an event organized by the Embassy of Armenia in Lithuania for Armenia’s Independence Day and coordinated Estonia’s team for the 2024–2025 European Armenian Games.
I believe my experience in social engagement, strong communication skills, and active involvement in the Armenian community make me well-prepared to serve as a Diaspora Youth Ambassador.
