Pargev Khachatryan

My name is Pargev Khachatryan, and I was born in Meghradzor, Kotayk region, Republic of Armenia. At the age of six, my family and I moved to Moscow, Russia, where I have lived ever since.
I graduated with honors from Moscow State Pedagogical University with a degree in Law and am currently continuing my studies in the Criminal Law program. I also maintain a private law practice, working in civil and criminal law, while studying international relations and international law.
During the 2020 Artsakh War, I actively contributed to providing humanitarian aid from Russia to Armenia through the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Moscow. Inspired by this experience, I helped establish the Armenian community at Moscow State Pedagogical University and was elected its President. Together with my team, we supported Armenians in difficult circumstances, including wounded soldiers and the families of those who lost their lives.
In 2022–2023, I co-founded the Armenian Students Union (ASU) with other Armenian youth leaders to unite Armenian students across universities. I currently serve as head of the Legal Department and the ASU Security Department.
As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador, I am committed to fulfilling my responsibilities and strengthening relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.
