Roza Shmavonyan

My name is Roza Shmavonyan, I am 22 years old and currently live in Saint Petersburg. I was born in Yerevan, and at an early age my family moved to Russia, where I have lived for over 20 years. Growing up bilingual, I am fluent in both Armenian and Russian.
In 2025, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Russia’s Foreign Policy from Saint Petersburg State University of Economics. Alongside my studies, I was actively involved in student councils, youth initiatives, conferences, and educational projects.
I have taken part in a wide range of forums, including the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (2024), the Labour Forum (2023), the BRICS Forum (2023), and the Youth Forum (2022), as well as numerous student and cultural conferences. From 2021 to 2025, I consistently engaged in the key events of student and public life.
In spring 2025, I gained professional experience as an assistant to a representative of the National Assembly of Armenia at the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS Countries, supporting delegations during Council sessions in Saint Petersburg.
Since 2022, I have also been an active member of the Armenian Regional Youth Association of Saint Petersburg (ARMA). Within ARMA, I manage media projects as a creative manager and video maker, helping to share community events and strengthen ties both within the Armenian diaspora and with other communities.
