Mane Vardanyan

My name is Mane Vardanyan; I am 25 years old and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at Nanjing University. I was born and raised in Armenia and later moved to Nanjing, China, after graduating from the Faculty of Foreign Regional Studies at the Russian-Armenian University.
Before moving to China, I worked as a Chinese language teacher at the Armenian-Chinese Friendship School. In China, I completed an internship at China Development Brief, contributing as an author and translator of research papers and articles. Alongside my academic and professional activities, I actively participate in volunteer projects.
Through my experiences in China, I have recognized the importance of promoting greater awareness of Armenia and Armenian culture, as many people there know little about our country. To address this, I regularly organize and participate in initiatives that introduce Armenian culture and history to the Chinese public.
I believe that my participation in the Diaspora Youth Ambassador program will provide an opportunity to promote Armenian culture in a more systematic way, deepen understanding of Armenia’s centuries-old history for Chinese people, and strengthen ties between the Armenian community in China and our homeland.
