Hasmik Khachatryan

My name is Hasmik Khachatryan. I was born in Martuni, Gegharkunik Province, Republic of Armenia. When I was five years old, my family moved to Voronezh, Russia, where I continue to live and work today.
I studied Finance at Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and for more than five years I have been successfully building my career in this field.
For over a decade, I have been actively involved in the Armenian community of Voronezh. As an engaged activist, I have organized large-scale events with my team, contributing to the preservation and strengthening of our national identity. In 2020, together with my team, we coordinated humanitarian aid for soldiers and civilians in war-affected areas, providing support during a time of great difficulty.
In 2025, I became a member of the Central Supervisory Commission of the Voronezh “Ani” Cultural-Christian NGO, where I am responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial and legal activities.
Although I have lived far from my homeland for many years, I have always remained deeply connected to it, working to preserve Armenian culture, language, and traditions.
As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador, I am committed to fulfilling my responsibilities with honor and dignity. In partnership with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, I aim to develop new initiatives, encourage knowledge exchange, and contribute to the prosperity of our homeland.
