Alex Solomonyan

My name is Alex Solomonyan. I am 26 years old and live in Paris, a city whose multicultural vibrancy has shaped my identity and strengthened my commitment to Armenia. Although I was born and raised outside of Armenia, my Armenian heritage has always been at the core of my personal and professional journey. From an early age, my family placed great importance on transmitting our culture, and I have actively taken part in numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening ties between France and Armenia.
After earning a Master’s degree in Legislative Studies from the University of Luxembourg and a Master’s degree in Public Law and Legislative Studies from Aix-Marseille University, I devoted myself to the field of public affairs, always guided by the conviction that dialogue between peoples and institutions is a powerful driver of progress. I also hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Law and in Public Administration from the University of Burgundy.
Since September 2023, I have been working as a Public Affairs Officer at a major French company specializing in international transport and logistics. My responsibilities include designing influence strategies for parliamentarians and government officials, drafting amendments and position papers, and preparing events to raise awareness within the institutional sphere. Previously, I served as a Public Affairs Officer at Enterprise Holdings, where I focused on issues related to the decarbonization of the economy and legislative monitoring. Prior to that, I gained experience at the French National Assembly.
My commitment to Armenia has been a constant thread throughout my career. In 2022, I joined the Political Chancellery of the French Embassy in Armenia, where I drafted reports on the local political situation and deepened my understanding of the Caucasus region. Since February 2024, I have served as Public Relations Officer at G2iA (a network of French-Armenian business promotion structures), where I lead advocacy initiatives with French institutions in support of Armenia.
In addition, I served as Vice-President of the French Association for Legislative and Parliamentary Studies and was an active member of the youth branch of the IHEDN (Institute of Advanced National Defence Studies). I have also been a candidate in the municipal elections in Chalon-sur-Saône.
Fluent in French, Armenian, and English, with advanced proficiency in German and Russian, I am deeply committed to building bridges between communities. My journey reflects a constant desire to bring France and Armenia closer together, to foster mutual understanding, and to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of leaders at the crossroads of our two cultures.
