Aspram Mkhitaryan

My name is Aspram Mkhitaryan. I was born in Vanadzor, a city embraced by verdant mountains, and I have lived in Nice, France, since the age of fourteen.
I hold two master’s degrees from Université Côte d’Azur: one in International Business Law and another in Finance with a focus on International Wealth Management. I am also a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Today, I serve as Head of Risk and Compliance at an international multi-family office.
My desire to serve my homeland began with the launch of the iGorts program. In 2020, I took part in its first edition, working at Armenia’s Corruption Prevention Commission. During that time, I also discovered Armenian folk dances, which became a profound part of my life. Through dance, I experienced the power of connection, with every step linking us to our roots and every movement telling our story.
When I returned to France, with the support of the local community, I organized a workshop led by Gagik Ginosyan. This initiative grew into a cherished tradition that continues to this day. Our national dances are a living bridge between generations, a powerful expression of our identity, a source of unity, and a vessel for preserving the boundless spirit of our people.
For me, Armenia is a place I inhabit with both heart and mind. To represent my country is not only an honor but also a calling, a mission I embrace with the sincere desire to contribute to the enduring relationship between Nice and Yerevan.
As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador in Nice, I will devote my energy to ensuring that Armenia’s spirit, like a dance without end, continues to inspire, connect, and unite Armenians within our community and beyond.
