Aspram Mkhitaryan

My name is Aspram Mkhitaryan, I was born in Vanadzor, a city surrounded by the verdant mountains. I have lived in Nice, France, since the age of fourteen.
I hold two master’s degrees from Université Côte d’Azur. My academic background is in law, with a specialisation in International Business Law. I later completed a second master’s in finance, focusing on International Wealth Management. I am also a certified anti-money laundering specialist (CAMS). Currently I am Head of Risk and Compliance in an international multi-family office.
The idea of serving my Homeland was born with the launch of the iGorts program. In 2020, I participated in the first edition and worked at Armenia’s Corruption Prevention Commission. During that time, I discovered Armenian folk dances, which became a meaningful part of my life. Through dance, I discovered the power of connection — every step linking us to our roots, every movement telling our story.
Upon returning to France, and with the support of the local community, I organised a workshop led by Gagik Ginosyan. This initiative created a beautiful and beloved tradition within our community, which continues to this day. The national dance is a living bridge between generations, a powerful expression of our identity, a source of unity, and a vessel for preserving the boundless spirit of our people.
For me, Armenia is a place that I inhabit with my heart and mind. Having the opportunity to represent my country is a blessing mission. I am deeply honored to take on this responsibility, with a heartfelt desire to contribute actively and positively to the longstanding relationship between Nice and Yerevan.
As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador in Nice, I will devote my energy to ensuring that Armenia’s spirit — like a dance that never ends — continues to inspire, connect, and bring Armenian people together within the community.
