My name is Mariam Hakobyan.
I was born in Yerevan and I currently live in Uppsala, Sweden.

I specialize in environmental management and sustainable development in the construction industry.

Recently, I founded the "Uppsala Armenian Community" initiative to unite Armenians living in Uppsala, preserve Armenian culture, and strengthen local ties. We regularly organize meetings and events, strengthening ties between Armenians living in Uppsala and surrounding communities.

As a Young Diaspora Ambassador, I want to strengthen the connections between Armenian youth in Sweden, promote cooperation between Armenia and the Diaspora, and inspire young people to actively participate in Armenia's development.
