My name is Marie Kuyumgyan. I was born in the United States and currently live in Japan.

I graduated with a degree in Finance from Waseda University in Tokyo, and I work as a financial market trader at an international bank in Japan.

Along with my professional work, I am actively involved in the Armenian community in Japan. I voluntarily support the activities of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Japan, promoting the expansion and strengthening of ties between Armenia and Japan. I also collaborate with mayors and local government representatives in various Japanese prefectures to identify and develop new opportunities for cooperation with Armenia in business and other areas.

In Japan, I founded the first Asian platform for young Armenian professionals, "Young Professionals Chapter," which aims to unite young Armenian professionals working in various fields, create opportunities for professional and social networking, promote mutual support and cooperation, and strengthen their ties with Armenia. I want to develop this initiative at the regional level by creating a platform to unite young Armenians living in various Asian countries.

As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador, I strive to more actively engage young people in the preservation and development of Armenian culture and language, create new opportunities for communication and cooperation, unite young Armenians living in different countries, and introduce them to opportunities to deepen ties with Armenia, participate in the country's life, and contribute to the development of the Homeland.
