Karen Muradyan
I was born in 1989 in the city of Abovyan. Together with my family, I moved to Minsk in June 1999.
I received my higher education at Belarus State Economic University. I have a Master's degree in Economics and I also have a postgraduate degree. My field is the world economy, in particular, the competition of small economies, and the competitiveness in economic integration associations. I work in the Department of World Economics at the same university.
I have been actively involved in Armenian community life in Minsk since 2012. Since November 2019, I have been leading the Armenian educational and cultural organization “Armenia” in Minsk. I have great experience in organizing events. The celebrations of “Golden Apricot” of national minorities and of “Erebuni-Yerevan” and “Together” Armenian youth festivals are of special importance for me. We develop community programs, including on social media, by creating a community YouTube channel.
As a participant in the “Diaspora Youth Ambassador” program, I try to create values with my colleagues and work together to make Armenia the best it can be.
