Armen Sargsyan
I moved from Armenia in 2005 and graduated from Siberian Federal University with a Bachelor's degree in Management.
In 2006 I became an activist in the “Brotherhood” organization of the Armenian community in Krasnoyarsk and began my community activities.
In 2008-2019 I was the Deputy Head of the youth wing of the Armenian community.
Since 2019 so far, I have been the Deputy Head of the Armenian community of Krasnoyarsk.
In 2016, we created the Armenian Youth Union with other supporters, and I became one of the leaders.
In 2019, I participated in the school of “Young Leaders of the Diaspora” under the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2020, during the Artsakh war, I was involved in the Krasnoyarsk Armenian community’s coordination of humanitarian assistance.
I am currently actively working towards developing a unified system of Armenian schools in Russia.
As a participant in the “Diaspora Youth Ambassador” program, I am convinced that through joint and dedicated work, it is possible to implement new programs, as well as strengthen the ties between communities and the homeland.
