Hello, my name is Arine Kabassakalian and I am from Beirut, Lebanon.

I hold a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from The Lebanese University. My thesis was about Armenian tourism practices in Lebanon (ethnic or community-based tourism).

I have over 7 years of experience in the field of tourism, and I am also the co-founder and content creator of the Facebook page "Armenians in Lebanon.”

In my spare time, I enjoy playing ping-pong.

As an iGorts fellow, I am currently working as an ecotourism expert at the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia in the department for specially protected areas of nature and biodiversity policy.
