Sevane Kalamazian

My name is Sévane Kalamazian. I’m a legal advisor from Lyon, France. I have a Master’s degree in International Relations and security defense and a second graduate degree in the field of Human Rights.
I always wanted to be able to put my experience and skills to use in Armenia. So, in 2019 I spent some time here working on access to education in the rural areas of Armenia with the NGO Teach for Armenia.
I later returned to Birthright Armenia and worked with the Human Rights House Yerevan and Article 3 NGOs. I also worked at the French highschool, “Lycée français Anatole France” in 2020.
As an iGorts specialist, I am currently working at the Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia in the department of Children’s Rights. In my free time, I like to sing and box.
