Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and Impact Hub Yerevan, with the support of GIZ, is launching the GovTech Launchpad project to engage tech solutions related to repatriation and bridging Armenia and Diaspora.
There is a new opportunity for tech startups (worldwide) who are able to come up with crafty, creative, mind-blowing solutions that will support Diaspora Armenians on their journey of repatriating to the homeland, or for repatriates currently living in Armenia, or both!
As a result of the announcement, 10 startups who had the chance to participate to workshops, panel discussions and mentoring sessions. During the last day of the bootcamp, all startups presented their pitch-decks in the presence of our jury members.
The winning participants underwent a two-month acceleration program, during which they had training and individual mentoring courses to improve and develop their technological solutions.
The winner was TeachSurfing with its ConnectArmenia-ArmeniaConnect startup, with which our office looks forward to cooperating with in the future.
