The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs visited the Zabel Yesayan AGRI HUB, established by the International Center for Research and Education in the Field of Agribusiness (ICARE).

Zareh Sinanyan met with the Director of ICARE, Arthur Grigoryan, who presented to the High Commissioner the projects and initiatives implemented by the Foundation and shared his future plans.

ICARE is the umbrella institution for the Agribusiness Teaching Centre (ATC), EVN Wine Academy and for agribusiness research and rural development projects. They combine the best practices and the most advanced knowledge in agribusiness education, research and development.

The Foundation operates the Agribusiness Teaching Centre, which trains agribusiness specialists at the bachelor and master levels, and runs the EVN Wine Academy initiative with the University of Heisenheim (Germany). EVN offers a one-and-a-half-year professional certificate programme in English in the field of Enology and Wine Business for prospective and practising wine technologists and entrepreneurs, as well as short courses for wine enthusiasts.

During the meeting, Zareh Sinanyan emphasised the importance of having such projects and expressed the Office's readiness for further cooperation with ICARE.
