High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan took part in the opening ceremony of the Supreme Legislative Assembly of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party in Yerevan, which was attended by the leadership of the party, deputies of the RA National Assembly, representatives of extra-parliamentary political forces and others.

Zareh Sinanyan conveyed to the audience the welcoming speech of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which specifically stated: «With its century-long activity, the party has served the people and homeland, being one of the important organizations for solving national problems, international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, organizing the migration of Armenians and solving nationwide problems. This traditional party has always played an important role in processes of pan-Armenian significance, proving its viability with its history and past path. The party's role in the organization of political and social life in Diaspora deserves high praise. Even today, the Government of the Republic of Armenia feels the support of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party in solving important problems faced by Armenians and Armenia, preserving national identity and language, strengthening ties with the homeland and other issues. We are interested in the continuous development of the party aimed at strengthening the unity, freedom and statehood of our country and people.»

In his welcoming speech, the High Commissioner noted that the party's path, invested efforts and Armenia-centric ideology have educated generations and created a lasting footprint and expressed his joy that today the party with a more unified face appears before Armenians of Armenia and Diaspora. In this context, Zareh Sinanyan highly appreciated the position of the leadership of the party for choosing the path of coordination of efforts, united work and unity.

During the opening ceremony, the welcoming words of RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, His Holiness Aram I and other partner structures of the party were also conveyed to the attendees.

After that, the ceremony of presenting the book dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the party took place.
