Per decision No. 291-A by the RA Prime Minister, Serjik Angelian has been appointed as the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Germany, holding the status of an adviser on a public basis.

Educated in Hamburg, he has been the owner and CEO of the "Angelian" company since 1996. Engaging actively in the Armenian community of Hamburg since 1997, he served as the Armenian community head from 2018 to 2022 and has been a member of the Advisory Council of the Armenian Community of Hamburg since 2022. He is fluent in Armenian, English, German, and Persian.

Serjik Angelian's role will focus on fostering cooperation between the community and Armenia, enhancing the efficiency of related efforts, engaging the community's potential, and supporting the preservation of Armenian identity, repatriation, and organizing events for the integration of Diaspora Armenians in Armenia.
