Anna Karapetian has been appointed as Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Denmark by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2005, she established the Armenian-Danish association "Danarmen". Furthermore, in 2022, she assumed the position of chairperson of the trade union within the "Danish Refugee Council" charitable NGO. Since the same year, she has served as a member of the Bispebjerg Committee of Copenhagen.
