The 2026 Step Toward Home educational and cultural program, organized by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, officially launched on June 12.

The first phase of the program welcomed 120 young Armenians from the diaspora, arriving from Russia, Georgia, Spain, and the United States.

Over the course of two weeks, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Armenia’s rich historical and cultural heritage, improve their Armenian language skills, build new friendships, and strengthen their connection to their homeland.

As part of the program, they visited numerous historical and cultural landmarks and monuments, while also taking part in a variety of educational, cultural, and interactive activities.

Today, the participants of the program’s first phase return to their countries, taking with them new knowledge, valuable experiences, lasting friendships, and an even stronger bond with Armenia.

The second phase of the 2026 Step Toward Home program will begin on June 26 and run through July 8, bringing together a new group of participants from countries around the world.
