The deadline for applying to iGorts 2022, a program from the Office of the High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs, will be extended until May 10. The program allows Diaspora Armenian professionals to work in more than 20 public sector institutions in Armenia for a year. The program is open to professionals who have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience or a Master’s degree (or higher) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Applications are accepted in Armenian, English and Russian. Following an application and interview process, Diaspora Armenian professionals will start working in their respective departments for a period of one year from September 1st, 2022. This is a unique opportunity for Diaspora Armenian professionals to contribute to the state-building of Armenia and bring their experience and knowledge to the public administration’s field

Within the framework of the program, more than 100 Diaspora Armenian professionals have already started working in more than 25 sectors in Armenia and Artsakh. The program is financed by the Republic of Armenia. The participants will receive a round-trip air ticket, a monthly stipend of 336.000 AMD to cover living expenses for the duration of their fellowship, an emergency medical insurance, and a fee for a one-year residency permit.
