Welcoming the doctors at the airport were High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan, Deputy Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte, and Chief of Staff to the Office of the High Commissioner Sara Anjargolian.

Doctors Part of First International Medical Mission to Armenia Join Fight Against COVID-19

On June 14 a charter flight from Marseilles, France landed in Zvartnots Airport with a group of doctors, here to assist Armenia in the fight against COVID-19. Responding to the request from the RA Ministry of Health, the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in close collaboration with USAID, quickly coordinated the first of its kind COVID-19 international medical mission to Armenia.
