Lili Harutyunyan
I’m Lili Harutyunyan from Switzerland. I studied Architecture at Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction from 2001 to 2005. I graduated in 2008 with a Diplom-Ingenieurin Architecture degree from Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck, Austria.
I successfully completed the academic program of Future Cities at the Architectural Association School of Architecture London (venue: Madrid) and have been certified in the Urban Development Summer program organized by University of Clermont-Ferrand, France. Due to my great love and interest in Japanese architecture and city planning, I also successfully completed a certified course of "Four Facets of Contemporary Japanese Architecture: Theory" at The University of Tokyo in 2015.
After graduation, I was employed at the renowned architectural company in Paris, Jean Nouvel. I have 13 years of experience in several Swiss-known architectural practices, such as Bob Gysin & Partners, Atelier WW among others. Additionally, I have worked on different scale urban development projects. In 2012 I founded my architectural practice in Switzerland "atelier lim" with the main focus being functionality, quality and minimalism. I co-founded the Armenian Association of Zürich (AVZ) in 2007 and continue to play an active role in the organization. I have lived in 4 different countries, speak 4 languages. I am married and have 2 children.
As an iGorts fellow, I currently work on the master plan for Yerevan City in the Yerevan Municipality.
