- 1971 - 1975: Tehran State University, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science (Iran) - One of the first graduates in this field in Iran. Also participated in courses at the Armenian Studies faculty.
- 1991 - 1995: Uppsala University, Sweden - Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science. Specialization in control rule mechanics and automation.
Professional experience
1995 - 2018: Worked in the Swedish education system as a mathematician and computer science specialist. Involved in various educational initiatives, including a three-year project planned by Stockholm University and the Swedish Academy, where managed the mathematics and computer department.

Additional Information
- Actively participated in reforming and democratizing national public structures in the Iranian-Armenian community until 1986.
- Founding member and spokesperson of the Armenian Cultural Organization, and editor of the "New Word" bi-weekly publication after the Islamic Revolution.
- Taught in Armenian schools for 15 years, advocating for textbook and educational system reforms.
- Founded the "Vana" Armenian cultural association in Sandviken in 1986.
- Organized the first congress of Swedish Armenians in Sandviken in 1989.
- Became a member of the Armenian Cultural Association of Uppsala in 1990 and organized the second Armenian congress of Sweden in 1991, leading to the establishment of the "Union of Armenian Associations in Sweden”.
- Headed the "Union of Armenian Associations in Sweden” in 2006.
- Editor-in-chief and publisher of the bilingual Armenian-Swedish periodical "New Horizon" from 1993 to 2006, distributed to Armenian communities in over 30 countries.
- Participated in the first Armenia-Diaspora Pan-Armenian Forum in 1999 as a representative of the Scandinavian countries.
- Teacher at the Uppsala Armenian Saturday School, author of textbooks, and organizer of student performances.
- Writer, poet, and translator. Published a 600-page Java programming initiative book in Armenian in 2024.
- Translated Sona Van's collection of poems "Libretto for the Desert" into Swedish, published in Sweden in 2022.
- Co-editor of the anthology “In the shadow of Ararat” published in Swedish in honor of the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing.
- Published the first Armenian poetry collection "Captured Hearts" in Scandinavia in 2000.
- Translated selections from Swedish poetry into Armenian for "Garoun" magazine.
