Ani Melkumova was born and raised in Yerevan. She graduated with honors from the Classical Dance Department at the Yerevan State Choreographic College, earning a qualification as a ballet artist. She continued her education at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, graduating with honors as a ballet teacher and choreographer. Later, she completed postgraduate studies as a teacher-researcher and earned the title of candidate of pedagogical sciences.

Ani has developed professional curriculum programs, published articles, presented at scientific conferences, served as a jury member for dance competitions and exams, and conducted masterclasses as an instructor.

With 15 years of teaching experience, she has taken more than 30 advanced courses in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, psychology, and health-oriented physical training methods, consistently expanding her knowledge and skills.
