Hello, my name is Anahit Mikaelyan, I am 35 years old and come from the Cypriot city of Nicosia.

I received my secondary education in Armenia, then continued my academic journey at the Melkonian Institute in Cyprus. I pursued my higher education at the European University of Cyprus, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. During the course of my university education, I obtained the world-renowned ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification. 

I have more than 10 years of professional work experience. In the course of my career, I worked in various international organizations initially as a Senior Audit Specialist and later changing my field of work, I held the position of Director of Finance, during which I was engaged in both the financial management of the organization, as well as the general activities and personnel management of the organization. At the same time, I taught at the University of Central Lancashire-Cyprus.

Currently as part of the “iGorts” program, I work at the Corruption Prevention Commission.

During the 2020 lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent Artsakh war, I was involved in a number of volunteer programs and am also an active member of the public organization "VOMA.”
